Product Description

Nervoba Forte capsule is the combination of methylcobalamin, alpha lipoic acid, folic acid, pyridoxine and benfotiamine. Methylcobalamin is a essential nutrient for neurons and alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant which protects the neurons from oxidative stress.

Mechanism of action

It reduces the excess biosynthesis and accumulation of variety of glucose metabolites. Benfotiamine causes increase in tissue levels of thiamine diphosphate which cause increase in transketolase activity. Methycobalamine causes transfer of methyl group for the regeneration of methionine from homocysteine. It acts as a cofactor for enzyme methionin synthase. In cases of anemia it causes the production of erythrocytes by nucleic acid synthesis in bone marrow.
